Zabby's Farm Introduction

My name is Richard (Dick) Royer Jr. I own a small farm in Waldoboro, Maine called “Zabby’s Farm”. We have Haflinger draft ponies, a mini horse, sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, geese, ducks, turkeys, rabbits, honey bees, Labrador Retrievers, and now we have just acquired a small flock of Cormo sheep and will be the only breeder of Cormo’s in Maine. Since 2001 Zabby’s Farm has provide animals for petting and pony rides at birthday parties, businesses, town events, daycare centers, churches, schools, libraries, and here on the farm. Along with that Zabby’s also offers programs of pre-incubating eggs and a bunny littering project for school classrooms and libraries. Our farm doesn’t travel with the carnival we provide animals for persons that love them and don’t generally get to see them and as we see it for education purposes. We will also be adding a small farm store this spring offering vegetables, eggs, honey, and other items for sale to the public as the seasons allow. I’m very excited about having the opportunity to share my farming stories and information with you all and hope you will enjoy reading out my farm and family.

Thank you,

Dick Royer; owner
